Project Overview

TerraClear is the end-to-end solution that frees farmers from their rock problem. They utilize drone flight, hi-res imaging, a patented "rock picker" implement and a tablet application to transform the way farmers work. Terraclear flies drones over vast acres of farmland and then identify and map every single rock on thousands of acres—these must be removed every plowing—allowing farmers to plant crops each season. I did the initial research, wireframing, and UX/UI design for their tablet application. I also updated their branding and built their first website. Below are a small sampling of hundreds of wireframes and final design screens used in the final application.

I designed this (somewhat campy) simplified diagram for early investors.
These are some wireframes, showing the login screen, Rock Map Orders and the settings panel in a given Rock Map
More wireframes showing the ability for farmers to select a rock picking route, filter by rock size in a given field and the realtime pick routes (GPS guided)
Final designs for the login page, current rock map flights and a new progress rollup
Final designs showing, Rock Maps. The Farmer can view these as a large tile, small tile or in list view. At any time the Farmer can display the "selector" which allows filtering across fields by rock size. The tile (fields) data can be sorted by "Most Pick Time", "Most Rocks" and "Rock Size". Additional controls allow for setting work priority and assignment of fields to farm hands.
Once in a Rock Map, the farmer or farm hand has access to additional settings. They can see current status (far left image), dive into realtime work progress (center image) and use settings on a given field to action (far right image)
